YBI is a global network of youth business initiatives whose purpose is to help young people work for themselves by providing them with business mentoring, local advice and support, and access to finance. Youth business initiatives work by bringing together people across business, civil society and government, who make their skills, expertise and facilities available to young people.

More than 50,000 young people have been set up in business by 35 youth business initiatives around the world.

BYST is the founding partner of YBI and has helped other countries like Srilanka, Mauritius, South Africa, etc. set up similar types of models.
